Bradon Forest School is a successful, well regarded school, rated as good by Ofsted, situated in the village of Purton, surrounded by beautiful open countryside. This gives us the perfect backdrop to focus on providing an excellent standard of education as well as nurturing students’ individual talents and character.

The school is happy and friendly with a supportive environment which enables students to flourish and enjoy their education. We place the highest priority on the learning opportunities, both academic and extra curricular, that we provide for our students.

Bradon Forest School is an academy (part of The Athelstan Trust) and as such determines its own admissions policy and considers all applications for the school.  Other key policies including behaviour and charging policies can be viewed here.  Our Admissions Policy for 2023/24 is available here and the policy for 2024/25 here. The timetable for admission appeals can be viewed here.

If your child has an Educational Health Care Plan, you should contact your SEND Case Worker as your child’s admission will be handled by the Central SEND team and not by the School Admissions Team. You cannot apply online or use the common application form.

If you have further questions after looking at our website please contact our Admissions Officer to arrange a tour of the school or to arrange to speak to a member of Learning Support or Pastoral teams.
