Examination Results and Performance Tables

We were delighted to congratulate our Year 11 students on their results this summer. Their effort, commitment and hard work resulted in highly impressive exam performances. As a result many of our students, staff and parents were celebrating on results day.

We were delighted that students across the ability range had been so successful. Whatever their starting points and talents, it was great to see that many Bradon Forest students had achieved so highly.

Special mention was given to the following students who achieved seven or more A-A* or 7-9 grades: Charlotte Bowdidge, Peter Cresswell, Lewis Fisher, Ben Hartley, Connor Hibbs, Sophie Kell, Fathema Miah, Sami Sawaf, Sophie Sherman, Thomas Silvester, Leon Slade, Sam Sullivan, Finlay Taylor, Adam Thorn and Luke Webster.

The excellent GCSE results were yet more positive news for the school which was judged ‘good’ by Ofsted in April 2016 and opened a new Sports Hall last year with Technology block to follow in February 2018. Assistant Headteacher, Catherine Chappell, said:

I am ecstatic for the students and what these results mean for their futures. As a result our students have secured places on their college courses and apprenticeships. It is a joy to see them open their results envelopes and celebrate their successes.

Headteacher, Dr Andrew Morrison, said:

I am pleased to see all those students who worked so hard for their GCSEs rewarded with such good results. Furthermore, I am delighted for our staff and parents who have taught and supported students to achieve these results. The impressive grades speak volumes for the way in which the Bradon Forest community works together to ensure academic success along with developing the mature young adults who we are proud to teach in our school.
