Bradon Bake-Off!

Year 7 student, Henry White beat some stiff competition in the The Great Bradon Bake-Off on Friday 18 March 2016. He came 1st with his toad in the hole, sourced almost entirely with local ingredients from his own farm. Henry gained an impressive 150 points for Ringsbury House. Well done!

In 2nd place Natasha Brice won 100 points and in 3rd place Summer Deverell won 75 points, both for Pear Tree House.

Sophie Partridge came 4th with 50 points for Ringsbury and Lucy Neate in 5th place gained 25 points for Pear Tree.

Are there no brilliant bakers in Battlewell? Hopefully the Bradon Bake-Off will be an annual event for more opportunities to show us what you're (and your cakes) are made of!

All 15 students that took part in the competition will get 10 points awarded for their house.

“The competition was great fun and the standard of entries was excellent. Well done to all those who took part”, commented judge Mrs Dickson. ”Many thanks to Miss Smith for organising the event.”
