Challenging Years 7 to 11

During early December Dr Andrew Morrison and Julie Hunter have been holding Challenge Assemblies for year groups 7 to 11. During these assemblies students have been asked to reflect on the amount of work or effort that they put into all of their subject classes. They were asked whether they were proud of all of the work that they had completed so far this year.

The reason for holding these assemblies was to remind students that the effort they put in over the five years at they are at Bradon Forest will impact on their final GCSE grades. They need to be consistently working to their best ability in all subjects. Students were tasked with going home and looking in their exercise books to see what impression they are giving and if their books look like they are setting them up for success in their GCSEs.

Julie Hunter commented; "It is important that students realise  that consistent effort in all subjects is needed to succeed in order to secure the future that they want."
