Consultation on Converting to Academy Status within a Multi-Academy Trust

As you know, Bradon Forest School has made significant progress in recent years. This was evident in our record 2014 results and we are confident that we will continue to build on this success. Our progress has been due to the skill, commitment and hard work of both students and staff alongside very welcome support from parents. During the last year, governors have been considering converting to Academy status and becoming part of a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in partnership with other schools.

We would not intend to change the day-to-day operation of Bradon Forest School as a result of converting to a MAT. The current Headteacher and Leadership Team of Bradon Forest School will not change as a result of becoming a MAT.

We will be holding an Information and Discussion Eveningat 6.30 pm on 20 April 2015 to allow all stakeholders to listen to information regarding the proposal and discuss the issues together with governors. Representatives from Malmesbury and the Athelstan Trust will be available alongside governors from Bradon Forest. The formal consultation will run from 14 April 2015 to 8 May 2015.
