Cross Country Tournament for Local Primaries

Primary Cross CountryOn Friday 4 December over 100 primary pupils congregated at Bradon Forest's field for the local cluster Cross Country Tournament. St Mary's, Lydiard Millicent, St Sampson's, Broad Hinton and St Bartholomew's Primary Schools were all represented. Year 11 students helped out with the event and lots of parents were there to support the teams and cheer them on to the finish line. It was an awesome race, despite the muddy conditions. culminating in a really close sprint finish. There were two competitions and Lydiard Millicent won the tournament this year for Year groups 3&4, whilst St Sampson's won for Years 5&6. Congratulations to the winning teams and well done to everyone that took part. A well deserved mug of hot chocolate was really welcomed at the end. A big thanks from the PE Team to the parents and staff for supporting the event.
