Girls’ Football Results Wiltshire Cup

Year 7s v Royal Wootton Bassett Academy – 9-aside cup game

Result: Drew 3-3 (lost 3-2 on penalties)

The Year 7 girls were unbelievably unlucky not to go through the next round of the Wiltshire Cup following an epic battle at local rivals RWBA this Monday. Bradon Forest were on top for the vast majority of the game, scoring three lovely goals, two from Nalani Hunt and the other by her sister, Alana. Unfortunately, each time Bradon took the lead, RWBA pegged them back with a scrappy goal. The girls fought hard right up to the end and hit the woodwork a total of four times, including hitting the bar twice in the closing moments of normal time. In the end, Bradon fell short in a game they should have won comfortably in normal time.

U14s v Lydiard Park Academy – 5-aside league game (29/11/2017)

Result: 3-2 win!

The Bradon Forest team made up of seven Year 9 students and one Year 8 went to LPA yesterday and dominated from start to finish. Goals from Saf Anand and Lauren Davis-Mathis meant Bradon were 2-1 up at half time, before player of the game Amelia Curtis made the game safe at 3-1. LPA scored a late consolation but the result was never in doubt.

Special mention to captain and goalkeeper Madge Hutchinson who made some excellent stops against some ferocious strikes!
