It's a doddle!

Starting this term all Year 7 and 8 students will, from time to time, have homework set for them on the interactive learning website “doddle”.  Your child’s Science Teacher will show them how to log on to the doddle website and introduce them to the first activities they have been set. Log in instructions also appear on the extranet front page under subject links.

For Year 7 the topic will be about separating mixtures.  For Year 8 the topics will be food chains and webs. Your child’s Science Teacher will give the class a date to complete the tasks by.  Each section comprises a power point that your child should view. This is followed by a quiz to test their learning.

You might find it interesting to sit with your child whilst they begin the tasks, as it will help you to know more about what they are currently learning in Science.

If your child is not able to access the internet from home, Study Club enables them to use the computers in the school library.
