Mamma Mia!

Head of Music, Mrs Hutchings, took 150 Year 7 students to the Bristol Hippodrome on Wednesday 13 May to see the hit musical, Mamma Mia. Based on the music of ABBA, the story follows a mother attending her daughter's wedding. Unbeknownst to the mother, three very special guests have been invited... the daughter's potential father!

"Mamma Mia was an exciting and thrilling show, something not to forget! It was no surprising that everyone was on their feet at the end. Everyone was singing - even Mr Parkes!" Maddie Winter

The students behaved impeccably throughout the whole trip and Mrs Hutchings is already planning to see Sister Act with next years Year 7!

"Watching live theatre is an invaluable experience and we want our students to be able to enjoy such a vibrant and enthusiastic performance."

"As we laughed and smiled, Mamma Mia was an unforgettable experience. Not only did the crowd clap along, everyone sang and enjoyed the whole performance." Elivia Francis
