Most Able Trip to Tate Modern

On Friday 14 October, Dr Morrison accompanied Mr Martch-Harry to lead a special trip to the Tate Modern art gallery in London for over 40 of our 'most able' students.

The trip was designed to encourage students' exposure of international modern and contemporary art, and inspire their creative expression.

With only two hours in the gallery, groups split off to try and see as much as they could. It was a pleasure to hear so many deep and meaningful conversations between students and staff about art and what it means.

"The students were a pleasure to take to London, impeccably behaved and had a real enthusiasm for the variety of art on display." - Mr Martch-Harry

Students experienced the current installation, "Journey", by Philippe Parreno, in the Turbine Hall.
