Music from Belarus

This week we welcomed two extremely talented music students from Belarus. The students from Zaslav were able to come over to the UK for a music based and social learning experience as a direct result of funds raised by Bradon Forest students at the charity cabaret event last year. During their visit they will be practising their music at the school, taking part in concerts across the region and mixing with British students by taking part in many local Youth groups.

The whole experience is funded by Bradon Forest Students and musicians from the area. The Zaslowya Project is a local based micro charity set up in the 1990’s  that also enables many Chernobyl orphans from Belarus to attend a Music camp in the Summer. Twice a year Bradon Forest students, led by Miss Fleet from the Music Department, raise money for the ‘ZM Camp Fund’ by performing locally for the charity.
