Summer Music Concert - a Farewell to Mrs Hutchings

Mrs Hutchings reports: Well, what can be said?!  It was a lovely evening.  Anticipation filled the air as not only was it an England match but it was Bradon's final Music concert of the 2017-18 season and both line ups were looking good!

Although being one of the hottest days to date everyone was in fine spirits and they students did not disappoint.  The standard of performing was amazing.  With everyone really supporting and encouraging each other.  The Year 7 Dynamics opened with Naughty from Matilda and we even saw a few dance movements! Students introducing their own performances very professionally and a wide range of musicals being represented.

Behind the scenes Mrs Fry had been very busy and what a surprise it was when for the final performance in walked lots of old familiar faces who had taken to stage at various points in the last 10 years reuniting to perform 'From Now On'. This was my final concert at Bradon and yes they got me!  After at least 50 concerts/performances it was time to dim the lights for the final time but what a way to end.

Thanks to all who have attended and performed in this and all concerts I have been involved in - this is what making music is about - being able to share it with friends and family and giving everyone the opportunity to do that.  And a very special thank you to Mrs Fry.
