The dedication behind Sporting Success

Year 11 student Harry Llewellyn left the UK on Wednesday 14 April 2016 for four days of full on Ice Hockey training camp with the England Under 16 team.

Harry has been playing as a 'forward' for the England Ice Hockey 'Under 16' Team for the last two years now and this is his fourth trip with the England Team as they head over to Prague in the Czech Republic. Last year Harry scored 3 goals in the International Mountain Cup Challenge, defeating the Italian National Champions. This was the first ever England Ice Hockey U15 team to win an International Tournament.

However it is not all glamorous goal scoring and international travel, Harry's training schedule is equally as impressive. He said, " I train every other day after school as well as every morning".

Harry has kindly offered to give us a 'behind the scenes' look at the hard work that goes in to top level sport. Keep an eye on our Instagram account this week!
