Year 7 PGL adventures

Our annual Year 7 visit to PGL Boreatton Park took place over the first weekend in July. Read these reports from two of our students.

Scarlett Gregory said, ‘My favourite activity was the giant swing because it was very challenging. I really pushed myself and went out of my comfort zone. The main meals were good but the highlight was the delicious salad bar. The problem solving was also a highlight because it built up my teamwork skills. Fortunately the weather was dry however we experienced the hottest days of the year.’

‘I really enjoyed my PGL weekend. We took part in lots of different activities – Jacobs Ladder, tunnel trail, canoeing, capture the flat, giant swing and problem solving.  The food was great - all you can eat buffet! The funniest moment for me was when Mr Johnson did a bicycle kick and hit the post when we were playing football. My favourite activity was the tunnel trail because it was dark and a tight space.’ Ted Andrews
