Extra Curricular

Our school offers a dizzying array of opportunities for our students to participate and excel outside the classroom, for instance not every school has its own Radio Station. Radio broadcasting can help students improve important life skills in confidence, communication and problem solving.

Our What's On Out of School Hours (WHOOSH) programme has continued to flourish with a range of clubs and activities in all areas of the school.

Please take a look at this term's activities.

Last year  we were able to offer our biggest range of  clubs and activities.

Enrichment activities/projects included Science Crest Award and KS3 Science Club, Technology (Engineering/Robotic Challenges), Business  Studies/Young Enterprise team plus   Code-breaking and Puzzles Club, Japanese Club and Film Club, to name but a few!

This was in addition to the vast range of sports clubs and teams, many of which competed at local, regional and national level with great success. Our extra resources resulting from our ‘Specialist’ status continue to enable even more provision in Drama, Music, and Dance in terms of clubs, performances, workshops and primary liaison.

The Bradon Forest theatre hosts many shows produced by our students.

At Bradon Forest all subjects and extra curricular  activities are greatly  valued as an important   element of school life, as we believe in providing an all-round education which gives students an opportunity to succeed - busy people are always the ones who find time to do things (a valuable life skill)! Textiles, Art, ICT, Key Stage 3 Science clubs and Key Stage 4 enrichment opportunities in Art,
History, Mathematics and other subjects are just some of the after school activities.
